Hi, I'm Merceline — and I built FitThickChic for the Kenyan woman the gym industry forgot.
Kenyan. Fitness enthusiast. The woman behind FitThickChic.

My Story
For years I tried to lose weight the way the internet told me to — expensive supplements, gym memberships I couldn't keep up with, meal plans written for women who eat oats and almond milk, not ugali and managu. None of it worked, and most of it made me feel worse about myself.
So I figured it out the slow way. I learned which Kenyan foods actually move the scale, what portion of chapati my body could handle, when to eat sukuma vs avocado, and how to lose weight without giving up the meals my family eats. I tested everything on myself first. The 11 plans inside FitThickChic are the exact playbooks that finally worked for me — written in shilling prices, kawaida ingredients, and language that doesn't make you feel like you're failing if you can't afford salmon.
I'm not a doctor and I'm not selling you a miracle. I'm a Kenyan woman who refused to keep paying for plans that didn't fit my life — and now I'm sharing what worked, at a price every dada can afford. If you've been waiting for a coach who actually gets it, you're in the right place.
— Merceline, your FitThickChic dada
